Performance Analysis of Interferometer Algorithm under Phase Measurement Error

Direction finding has been extensively studied over the past decades and a number of algorithms have developed. In direction finding, theoretic performance prediction is fundamental problem. This paper addresses analysis issue interferometer-based 2D angle arrival estimation using uniform circular array (UCA). We propose an analytic method for interferometer in presence Gaussian or error phase measurement incident signal on each sensor. The mean square (MSE), which approximately equal to MSE actual DOA estimation, derived via Taylor expansion approximation. useful predicting how algorithm dependent error.
